Experience shows that for work so much time is, as a rule, spent, how many it is available on hand. Therefore it is necessary to set exact temporary norms, to provide exactly so much time for this or that business in the plan, how many it really demands.
Planning is urged to provide master's use of the most valuable resource – time. The better time is distributed (i.e. it is planned), the better it can be used in personal and professional interests of the head. Planning means preparation for realization of the purposes and structuring time.
whether time expenses were justified? (if more than 10% of working hours made affairs time expenses on which are not justified, it is necessary to analyse the reasons for which the expense of time was too great and to try to consider them in future works
Correctly to distribute time, it is necessary to know precisely how it is spent actually. The analysis of use of time will help to reveal temporary losses, to show strong and weaknesses of the practiced working style. Such analysis is simply necessary if it is not known, on what in general time is spent, it is not known, performance of these or those affairs what is the time demands, it is not known, what factors stimulate or limit working capacity.
It is necessary to fix in plans results or the purposes, but not simply any actions that efforts were initially directed directly on achievement of the purpose. It will help to avoid unplanned activity.
Continuous completions of the house. Work of the managing director belongs in a certain measure to intellectual activity therefore it is difficult to divide the intellectual processes connected with this activity on carried out in working and free time. It leads to penetration of working hours into the free. Thus the head does not manage to have a rest that affects his working capacity and health.
whether work performance was expedient? (if more than 10% of working hours went to tasks which performance was inexpedient, means it is necessary to pay attention to planning, the organization, self-realization)
drawing up a daily routine and the organization of labor process for achievement of goals assumes. The organization of the working day has to correspond to the basic principle: "Work has to submit to me, and not vice versa". There are 23 rules which can be divided into 3 groups: rules of the beginning of day, main part of day and end of day.
Continuous haste. In a condition of continuous haste the head does not manage to concentrate on that task which he carries out at present. It goes on that way which occurred to the first instead of thinking of other, perhaps more rational ways of the solution of this task.
Obviously, expenses of time for planning cannot infinitely increase, there is an optimum after which the further increase in time for planning becomes inefficient. From the general planning period (year, month, week, day) at most 1% of time for planning should spend.
In Rossi there was an image of the head as the person who constantly has no time, and the more lacks it time, the more considerably it seems. Some heads with delight declare that they work for 12-13 hours per day, expressing these devotion to the business. Objectively, it says only that the person cannot place priorities and it is correct to organize the time.
Installation of terms of an embodiment is more whole also a formulation of desirable results. It is the last step at statement of the purposes when are formulated concrete the practical purposes for the subsequent stage of planning.
The main objective of self-management – as much as possible to use own opportunities, consciously to operate a current of the life and to overcome external circumstances. Self-management helps to perform works with smaller expenses, it is better to organize work (therefore, to receive the best results), to reduce load work and, so to reduce haste and stresses.
Lack of accurate distribution of works on degree of their importance. Thus the head starts being engaged in the easiest and pleasant, not so important issues. As a result it does not have enough time for the solution of key, perspective tasks.
